Best place for Flash tutorials
published on 29.10.09 by J Corn
Flash videos are being used extensively to make sites more exciting and interactive. If you have never used Flash and try to have a go for yourself it can be very confusing. There is no indication of what to do and where to do it so you are best looking for further help.
Books are always the best place to look, for it is easier to read out of a book than on a screen. You can also rely on their content rather than some dodgy blog that someone has put together with guesswork. For a good starting post I would definitely try the Visual Quickstart Guides. Make sure the version of the book matches the version of Flash you are using because actionscript can vary.
If you were looking for a cheaper solution, I would definitely try a site like flashkit. They have extensive tutorials, but you may get lost if you have never used Flash before. I would always recommend Adobe themselves for help and guidance. They do have quite good help and support pages. A good source is also Lynda.com , there are lots of tutorials for many types of software on here.
